17 days into 2024 and we can already tell that this is gonna be the year we eventually tell our grandkids about when they ask what the Roaring 20’s were like.

2023 was an insane year all-around, so you know that means we gotta make 2024 even bigger.

Got some big shows coming up real soon in Washington DC, Vegas, and of course the granddaddy of them all, Big Bootie Land Los Angeles for the premiere of Big Bootie Vol. 24. (We’ve already used two references to grandparents in this newsletter, that’s a new record)

Already getting pumped thinking about festival season too… we’re gonna be playing at Bonnaroo for the first time this summer and we can’t wait to throw down on the farm. Also going to be at Project Glow which we’re stoked about… more festivals to come!

In case you still need convincing: we’re confident enough to say that this will be the best Two Friends show to date…

• Rose of the last few weeks: We welcomed mid-January Los Angeles winter with an intense game of pickleball in the sun and then did a three-point contest on the basketball court right after. I won’t say who won both competitions, but his name does NOT rhyme with cat. 

• Thorn of the last few weeks: Last week Matt worked from Cabo while Eli sat in his studio chair waiting for Matt’s return. Rose for Matt, maybe a thorn for Eli so we weren’t sure what section to put this in.

• NEW TWO FRIENDS MUSIC: Wrapping up our next single…really excited to share new music with y’all this year - we’ve been griiiiiinding in the studio and we’ve got a lot of things cooking. Been a minute we know….

Next few weeks are going to be the best and busiest. Hope to see all of you soon ❤️
